History of the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting
Warren Buffet has taken over Berkshire Hathaway in 1965. It was at that time in distress, a textile company. Down the years, he made it a giant of $1 trillion. In those early days, the meetings were held in the lunchroom of the National Indemnity Company, with an attendance of only 20 people.
Modern-era meeting
It is an event now held in CHI Health Center, Omaha, where investors stand in line for several hours, to hear Buffett's business acumen and life lessons. This year marks the second time without Charlie Munger, Buffett's dear friend and business partner.
